Seriously, not all women do it and then "blame it on pms." Some of us actually have real mood swings where something random will cause us to just fill with rage (or cry for no reason) and take it out on either the perpetrator of the random act or an innocent bystander. Almost immediately afterwards, we (I, anyway) usually feel remorse and confusion. Like "What the hell is my problem??" and only THEN do I realize it's the pms.

I personally HATE women who just say it's PMS to get out of trouble for being a bitch at all times. Those women can go fuck themselves with a butcher knife.
