I'm not trying to be a dick or anything...

but in the guy's defense, BOTH people in the relationship deserve to be happy. Not saying his reason for breaking up for you was a good one, but if he's a person that freaks out like that over a few lbs, you probably shouldn't be with him in the first place. Also, if physical fitness is that important to him, the only way he's going to be happy in a relationship is if he's dating someone that has fitness as their top priority.
