actually, here's another great idea...

I think they should start it off like they usually do, only have the team do their introductions live, like backstage before they come out. Then, they should turn on a really rockin song and get the crowd pumped up. They should let some fans come down onto the field and line up where the band usually is, you cant hear the band anyway and having fans on the field would be much cooler. Crank the music, shoot off a ton of fireworks, and then have Chuck come on the bigscreen yelling "HERE WE COME, MOUNTAINEERS". Then the team runs out through the line of fans, who are going crazy, and the stadium explodes, with Mr. Wuf carrying the flag. We should have a few other students dress in similar wolf costumes as well, and do the howling thing at midfield, like the old-time basketball introduction. Wouldnt that be cool and really get the crowd involved and excited?

I dont really care what they do for the entrance this year as long as they pump up the volume. I feel like it was real quiet last year when they played the "boom" videos compared with years past.

I hear that this season, there will be at least 50,000 "fans" in the stands who have these things called "voices" that can be used in unison to make "noise". There's also a thing called a "marching band" that can make a lot of said "noise" as well.

I think its more that the sound system is awful, and the music is too loud for said sound system. Which I agree with...if your system only supports going up to 10, stay there rather than trying to take it up to 11.

I think either of these being played as we are awaiting for the Wolfpack to run out of the cave would be intense. Regardless if anyone finds either of these a good idea, the main idea should be to develop an environment at Carter Finley that not only gets the crowd and the team hype, but is also intimidating to opponents. The only way to become intimidating is to have a winning team and an extremely loud stadium. Crank up the volume!

a camera on the team walking down the tunnel to the wolf (all pre-smoke machines) and watching them pump themselves up too would have a nice effect on the crowd, display that on the jumbo tron with some music, my opinion would be BOOM, and yes,,, speaker upgrades are necessary based on last year

okay.... for armed forces day we use American Badass by Kid Rock. On the screens is the running wolves video but super-imposed behind the wolves is a waving american flag. We use red & white fireworks as usual. Two howitzers will be rolled onto each side of the tunnel and will be fired on entrace. Also timed perfectly will be a squadron of F-22 Raptors and a squadron of MV-22 Osprey.
