I am not sure why people keep lumping together Harry Potter and Twilight? I guess if you haven't read either one or both then it all just looks like some sort of pop culture buzz but in reality there is no comparison.

^i've heard a lot of people say both are really good.

twilight, i've heard from a few people (mind you these are only a few-but these people's taste closely mimic my own) say that twilight is crap. these individuals, in one way or another, said they read the whole book but it just wasn't that good.
one person compared it to celebrity tabloids....its interesting but nothing comes out of it. would not read again.
that being said i dont really have a desire to read that.

as far as harry potter is concern, the movies are pretty cool...but i read the first book and got about halfway through b/c...it just wasn't doing anything for me.

Give me my Tom Robbins, or Albert Camus, or Bernard Malamud
