I wasn't making a point about morality, i was saying i support abortion while still finiding drowing a dog moraly reprehensable and pointing out that, to me, they are very seperate issues.
7/20/2009 11:11:43 PM
Samwise16, I said a bit closer. This kid was dumb, desperate, broke, dumb, dumb, and dumb. But cruel? Deserving of reproductive organ confiscation? Fir for torture? You guys have lost your damn minds.(Save your ire for people who intentionally torture animals, not possible retards.)[Edited on July 20, 2009 at 11:14 PM. Come on. Y'all can't be sticking up for a dog while espousing eugenics.
7/20/2009 11:15:48 PM
i most certainly can and would stand by that
7/20/2009 11:17:27 PM

7/20/2009 11:27:10 PM
^^^Vets have drowned dogs before--not clumsily in lakes--but dog drowning has been performed by doctors. Don't act like it's the most cruel, outlandish thing you can do to an animal.
7/20/2009 11:32:59 PM
why is everyone making out a barbiturate overdose to be this instantaneous painless death?
7/20/2009 11:34:36 PM
I'm pretty sure its way up there, considering the dog is conscious for the whole drowning bit. You ever panic in a pool?
7/20/2009 11:35:04 PM
7/20/2009 11:51:34 PM
Holy shit I agree with BridgetThe guy was poor and dumb, that's about it. The guy didn't starve his dog or abuse his dog, he went to the vet, found out he couldn't afford to put the dog down so he took it into his own hands and tried to do it in a way that, although sounds appalling, is probably one of the more humane ways to kill a dog.
7/21/2009 12:03:06 AM
7/21/2009 12:04:30 AM
why did he feel the need to "put down" the dog in the first place.apparently, the dog isn't dying.
7/21/2009 3:26:04 AM
My greatest thought on this is that someone called the dog "Miracle".This has nothing to do with a miracle. If the water had parted and let the dog live, sure. But people jumped the fuck in and rescued it. There is no fucking miracle here. One of God's beloved children wanted the dog to die for its' own sake. This is like saying that the child saved from a murdered abortion doctor should be named "Miracle".

people i thought this was just another stupid dogbut clearly it is actually a magical magnet that attracts stupid speech from the mouths of sentimental moronsand thatTHATis CLEARLY no miracle

There's a huge difference between abortion and drowning a dog, if you can't see that you're just retarded.I'm all for abortion, maybe if it was more accepted or encouraged people like this worthless fuck wouldn't be out there being a drain on society. And it should scare the fuck out of you people because anyone that can sit there and duct tape a dog up and throw it into a pond is heartless and won't think twice about doing the same to you. Not to mention the more worthless a person is the more they will reproduce, that said, it shouldn't be long before FroshKiller and BridgetSPK start their little of goth downies.
7/21/2009 7:43:02 AM
^^^^^So if you get a car you can't afford you drive it into a lake?
7/21/2009 7:46:08 AM
yeah because when you are killing a dog it is only harming a creature that is defenseless and won't live out the rest of its life.so different than abortion.
7/21/2009 7:47:18 AM
the kid's not very bright and clearly poor as fuck.but y'all are making him out to be a fucking serial killer. It's just a dog.
7/21/2009 7:49:41 AM
I really do hate how people get more worked up about a dog dying than humans. When I am watching a movie with my girlfriend if any animal is "harmed" she hides her eyes and cant watch it. She can watch civilians get killed all day though in any action movie.I dont want her to be more sensitive to human death but i mean shit, get over it. animals die and humans die and everything else dies. thats how it is
7/21/2009 7:52:33 AM
my ex roomates brother was caught trying to kill a kitten once, they tried to get him psychological help, he was released.he eventually beat their father to death with a flashlighttrue storyhttp://www.myfox8.com/wghp-son-charged-with-murdering-father-090411,0,5034980.story

It's a dog, not a people. Miracle is a perfectly acceptable name. They'll probably call her "Mira" for short. Are we still talking about abortion? Take it to the soap box.

Did he really not have $100...or...Did he just realize he could get rid of the dog for free and spend the money on his on wants and needs?
7/21/2009 10:04:01 AM
Sure would suck if he was able to free up $100 to go towards his rent.
7/21/2009 10:11:01 AM
or perhaps, $100 towards his bail....
7/21/2009 10:11:16 AM

Yes, I was the first to speculate on his financial situation. Feel free to cast the stone.
7/21/2009 10:17:56 AM
sigh, another animal abuse thread with a bunch of animal lovers urging to give the guy capital punishment.
7/21/2009 10:18:08 AM
i believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt. i like to assume they have reasons and justification for their actions just as i do for mine. those reasons and justifications may not always be the most practical, but are always the best decision i came to at the time. for that reason i have a hard time faulting people for any action they commit that does not physically hurt or infringe on the liberties of another human
7/21/2009 10:18:26 AM
It doesn't matter if he didn't have the $100... He could have called animal control, said the dog wasn't his, tell them it was a stray, they would have taken it, and there.. problem solved for him.Not having the $100 is not even an excuse to do anything remotely like this.
