I drive it twice a week and I always see people getting pulled, maybe not the people going 90 because luck of the draw. Between my eyes and the detector it seems like I never note less than 3 or so between Burlington and Charlotte on each drive.

And oh yeah, be careful between Gboro and Burlington, the highway patrol in that district/area drive undercover chargers ALOT. Almost always there's one around there writing a ticket. I've watched twice now where a charger with antenna and interior flashers is in front of me cruisin at 60-65 and gets someone for doing maybe 10 over. One thing they do is to not turn on the radar until they fly up behind someone, hit the on button, catch the reading, and hit the lights. Marked cars get a lot of people in that open 15 miles just before Lexington, too.

As for passing, the one time I passed a cop with everyone jammed up behind him on the highway it took 4 to 5 minutes to pass him completely because I was going right at the limit. As soon as I did, he hit the lights and siren, pulled back up beside me and yelled out the window to slow down. I pointed at my speedometer which read 65, shrugged at him and he just shook his head and veered off to the side of the road with his lights still on. Fuck if I was gonna stop to find out what that meant. Go figure as soon as he did that everyone sped back up to 80.

i got pulled and a warning issued on the way to HS in '99 for doing 7.5 over... had just crested the hill at the harrison ave exit on I-40 headed into town down over on the the wade ave exit lanes. fucker made me late to school.
