I wish I was more sensitive to caffeine.... or any stimulant really. Coffee, soda, caffeine pills, ephedrine, etc - I could inject that shit and still feel nothing.

Yeah, that is certainly the most logical explanation, I just find it hard to believe that I've gone backwards so much in such a short period of time. Also, it wasn't really 3 years. We're talking, since about Sept 2006 to about March 2008 was like night and day. And now, 1 year after that it's just as bad or worse.

I get just as much sleep now as I did when I was training regularly. In 06, I was going to bed between 9:45-10:30 and getting up at 5:45 for a swim. Now I sleep from about 10:45-6:30/7.

ECA stacks used to light me up pretty significantly, but I can drink a triple espresso and go to sleep. caffeine doesn't do much for me.

I've tried ECA stacks, they just make me feel weird.

Once I had to drive back to raleigh (3 hour drive) at like 2 in the morning, so I drank 2 cups of coffee, an energy drink, and a mountain dew.

Got about 30 minutes into the drive when I had to pull over and puke on the side of the road.

ECA stacks don't really do a whole lot for me. I can still drink an assload of caffeine and go to sleep. I've had a 10-shot latte (which is barely a latte anymore) and taken a 1-hour nap. I will say this: elevated pulse rate, elevated body temperature, and sweating.

I bet if I threw an aspirin into the mix, it'd be even more.

I have had great results losing weight with stacks, but not on caffeine alone.

I tell you this: how I passed my weightlifting exam? Two Red Bulls and a couple of aspirin.
