Who said I was worried?
7/28/2009 10:39:35 PM
^^^shes pissed others are not more worried. shes not personally worried though.[Edited on July 28, 2009 at 10:41 PM. Reason : carrots]
7/28/2009 10:40:57 PM
^^i was just asking. glad you're not worried. i do think it's kinda pointless to get worked up over it.
7/28/2009 10:42:01 PM
geez, anything fun has "probable carcinogens" I was 14 when I started tanning, and stopped when I was 16. At 23 I started running outside on a daily basis and training for a marathon. Got skin cancer right before I turned 25. Started tanning again recently, but I keep it to a minimum. With my job (personal trainer), if you don't look good then people don't think you can make THEM look good. I know you all will think I'm stupid and judge me harshly (this is tdub and I expect nothing less), but I feel like I look better with a tan (and it makes my muscles stand out rawr). And I definitely attract more clients.
7/28/2009 11:04:07 PM
i get what you are saying for sure, but there is definitely no way i would tan again if i already had skin cancer. no way jose.
7/28/2009 11:05:38 PM
^^ That makes sense. I don't think I'd want to take exercise advice from a fat pale person.
7/28/2009 11:08:54 PM
7/29/2009 12:00:55 AM
fair enough. long as your judgement doesn't make your personality shitty everything would be ok
7/29/2009 12:03:31 AM
i only weigh in on personal choices when im asked. for very close friends i care a lot about, i will express my opinion so they know where i stand and let it go, but only if it's an issue that will impact their life a great deal.like the time i told a close friend not to get married. she asked my opinion, i told her. i don't lie and people ask me things knowing that.

well we're getting into another issue. the way health care is run currently is just stupid. health care providers get paid based on what they do to patients (procedures, appointments, tests etc) and NOT on resultsour system has made it so that a doctor has no incentive to practice preventative healthcare. just shove some pills down someones throat and we'll be good to go.i go to a dermatologist to have a suspicious mole looked at and not only do i have to wait months for an appointment, but im seeing a doctor that is a laser and botox fanatic. he doesnt give a shit about healthy skin care, he gives a shit about injecting poison in faces. so guess what happened, he removed my mole incorrectly and now i have to go to another doctor (fuck the original one) to have it done properly. BULLSHIT /lewoods rantwe live in a capitalist society, of course we're going to do what pays. its high time that prevention is rewarded as is good health. i think once we resolve that (um, pipe dream) then things like obesity and cancer costs that weigh down the system won't be as big of an issue^because i believe we deserve choices. you just have to pay more for the ones that are destructive. i certainly dont want to live in a country where only "certain" foods are available. let the consumers decide what they want. we just need to be rewarded for better choices. [Edited on July 29, 2009 at 12:19 AM. Reason : taxe$]
7/29/2009 12:17:49 AM
good tanning is overated, I hope this article leads to a healthy rise in sexy pale girls
7/29/2009 12:19:01 AM
^^ Agree with totally. But what 'should' be and what is today is not the same, and I still don't want to pay ^ Agreed. Pale >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tanned

7/29/2009 12:24:54 AM
You start banning things, you're restricting what I can do. Government shouldn't say what I can't or can do. What may make me fat or get cancer may not have any affect on another person, why restrict them because of me?Putting taxes in place for social costs is the fairest idea I can think of, plus as long as I don't do many of those things, I don't have to pay the $
7/29/2009 12:28:41 AM
I would never date a girl who tans in a tanning bed. I'd automatically think their IQ was low and that I'd never get along with them.[Edited on July 29, 2009 at 12:32 AM. Reason : it seriously is one of the dumbest things a person could do to themselves]
7/29/2009 12:30:43 AM
see thats where i disagree. in my idealistic view on gov i see a gov that should have the best interests of its nation as a whole. so when they say they are banning really fattening foods etc, i say good. make those fatties eat better.
7/29/2009 12:31:15 AM
and i'd say fuck you i want a hot dog
7/29/2009 12:32:00 AM
healthy ppl can eat whatever they want
7/29/2009 12:32:47 AM
^^and I would eat myselfso the healthy person couldn't have the fattening food since it's banned?[Edited on July 29, 2009 at 12:39 AM. Reason : yay big brother]
7/29/2009 12:32:48 AM
get you some cancer! fuck yea!
7/29/2009 12:32:58 AM
the problem is they knowingly put these things that cause cancer in products and then fudge the tests to show the results they want so they can give it to the public.
7/29/2009 12:33:32 AM
^^^i posted right above you man. how do you come to that conclusion?[Edited on July 29, 2009 at 12:35 AM. Reason : personally i'm all for chastising smokers and unhealthy ppl][Edited on July 29, 2009 at 12:36 AM. Reason : we need to weed these ppl out. once the current crop of smokers dies i hope its over]
7/29/2009 12:35:25 AM
you said it should be banned, but healthy people can have anythingits available or not
7/29/2009 12:40:23 AM
7/29/2009 12:41:10 AM
so i'm guessing universal healthcare would get a no vote from you?
7/29/2009 12:42:56 AM
lolim not saying there is no way to make it work, but the way its looking...
7/29/2009 12:47:31 AM
7/29/2009 12:54:59 AM
ok jsun, based on what you wrote ab hemp not containing thc, i would agree, no extra tax on that. i want to save trees and shit too
7/29/2009 12:56:59 AM
hemp seed oil is super rich in essential fatty acids as wellit contains omega 3, omega 6 and GLA which are very beneficial in warding off and treating degenerative diseases such as cardiovascular disease and cancer.
7/29/2009 1:04:01 AM

7/29/2009 1:21:30 AM
I really dislike too many freckles actually.[Edited on July 29, 2009 at 1:22 AM. Reason : too]
7/29/2009 1:22:03 AM
yeah keywords "too many"
7/29/2009 1:23:03 AM
7/29/2009 1:23:12 AM
^^ Freckles in general aren't terrific either.
7/29/2009 1:23:56 AM
but surely theres a level of tolerable. i mean if you'd say no to rachel marie or khcadwal i'd have to question whether your homosexual[Edited on July 29, 2009 at 1:28 AM. Reason : and ncsuwolfy if she has freckles]
7/29/2009 1:27:31 AM
^ew to my freckles!
7/29/2009 1:31:11 AM
I haven't seen any of them IRL, but I'd say I would probably say no to Rachel Marie, and a resounding maybe to khcadwal and wolfy.
7/29/2009 1:37:57 AM

Cancer beds always freaked me out, personally... The first time I ever went I could smell my skin burning afterward and I didn't go for a long time. I tried going again this year but was just like fuck it...I have lots of sun spots though from hardly ever putting on suntan lotion and living at the beach/close to the beach(Before any of yall waste your breath on how I should wear it, I know I should, I just forget and when I do remember I just say "oh well" )
7/29/2009 8:47:47 AM
my dermatologist says it's good for my acne and if i use cetaphil lotion on a regular basis then i'll be just fine...so i ♥ the tanning bed
