Cats are cool cuz you don't have to do shit but feed them and let them in and out. Dogs require a lot more attention to not turn out fucked up. Cats are cool for people who don't have time for a dog. i find cats to be more independent and less needy than dogs. they don't generally overeat so you don't have to work so hard to monitor a cat's diet. they don't roll in garbage and clean themselves so you don't have to bathe them all the time. they can even be training to only relieve themselves outside if you don't want to deal with the stench of a litter box that you forgot to empty.

with cats, you can get by with something for them to scratch so they don't fuck up your furniture, some catnip and a laser pointer. yeah, i vote for cats.

aside from occasional scratching on the furniture, our cat is awesome. i'll second being able to leave her for a few days with just food and water. she uses the doggie door to our little fenced in area, so she doesn't even have to use a litter box.

my dad has a F1 female savannah, (one step down from a wild serval) and an F4 male. When she has kittens they are F2's. She just had her first one. At 5 weeks she's already as big and capable of most kittens i've seen at 10-12 weeks.

She'll be freakin huge, and they sell from 1k - 3500k depending on how many generations down they are, F1, F2, etc

A Savannah is similar to the bengal cat in coloring, bengal is from a Asian Leopard Cat whereas the Savannah is from a Serval.

No kitten pics on this PC. Will try to remember to post some from other when I'm home. Most of the kittens are actually more tame than your average "domestic" cat. This is due to a good breeder taking the cat away from the semi feral mom at a very early age and bottle feeding it and raising it by hand from around 5 weeks old up thorough about 12 or more weeks old.

My boyfriend's cat was found in a ditch at a week old without mom. Being hand raised definitely makes them more friendly and likely to interact with humans. Damn cat thinks she's a human and will decide to start doing random stuff she sees me do. The most annoying so far is pulling some TP off the roll after she poops and in general being an attention whore and wanting to do everything with you.
