So you're a libertarian who wants a conservative republican to win even if the main libertarian contender from last time is publicly opposed to that republican...
and you think said conservative republican can win even though the libertarian has done better than republicans in the past....
and you believe he can & will win despite a belief that the democrat has the district gerrymandered in his favor (in addition to already being the most liberal district in the state).
I'd also point out that the district isn't totally unreasonable, I mean its Orange + Durham + the western end of Wake, compared to districts like 1, 2, 3, 9, 13, and most especially 12, district 4 looks perfectly reasonable.
He's a liberal who represents liberals, I get that you don't like there being a liberal representative, but he is a reflection of his triangle area constituency. I assume he is your representative since you've made more threads about him than anyone else, but it bears asking, is he your representative?

Your values are scary, so better to run someone who doesn't share your values who has a chance of winning?9/3/2009 11:37:27 PM |

Price is the congressman from my district but in no way represents my values. He works for Pelosi. As far as I know, he has never challenged his democrat overlords, or voted against their leadership.

My wish for the mid-term election is to turn over enough democrat seats to gum up Obama and his party's agenda for the remainder of his hopefully one and only term.9/4/2009 2:12:51 AM |
