Facebook should seperate "friends" from "family", and you can have two profiles, one for each group, exclusive.

^^you can set up multiple groups for your friends and micromanage everything that different groups get to see...pictures, posts, links, their ability to post to you, etc.

after realizing my dad has a facebook and is friends with my brother, I deleted all my "naughty" pictures and waited for him to friend me. That was over 2 months ago and I'm still waiting :-/

That's exactly the was it was too. My mid-30s cousin tried to friend me to help him play mafia wars or whatever and I told him flat out as a rule I have no family on facebook.

Shit's starting to piss me off too, I'll be joking around, being sarcastic, or commenting on an inside joke on a status and some parent jumps into the conversation and starts defending their child like I'm an attacking stranger, or else is like huh? what does that mean johnny?

I've been biting my tongue but it's like BITCH YOU DONT EVEN KNOW ME, AND YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF UNDERSTANDING INTERNET HUMOR OR SARCASM
