I saw something that said he had 5 so I was guessing he got credit for the senior bowl and that black coaches association "bowl" we played against new mexico.

might have to miss this one actually. ferry leaves portsmouth island at 1:45 so i don't see us getting back to raleigh until 7 or later. going on a fishing trip with 4 guys who don't give a shit about NC State for one of my boys' wedding parties. have to miss the game vs duke on oct. 10th for his wedding. this "friend" is costing me two home ncsu games this year.

best case scenario is i get back in time for the 2nd half.

ANYWAYS........

^^^^, ^^^, ^ Weird...I'm in the same boat. What is it about October 10th? Dudes need to consult NC State's home schedule before agreeing to have their wedding on a given date.

Mine is in Monroe. How about yall?

Gopack has the Pitt game at 3:30, but StubHub has it at 1:00. Anyone know when the actual game time is?"

Maverick1024, unless you don't live in Raleigh how is it you only have money for one of these games? Pitt tixs will be pricey, but GW tickets will be under $20. And obviously the bigger game si the one to go to!

Interesting stuff.

I'm missing the Pitt game b/c of a bachelor party (for my sister's fiance). And the wedding (which I am in) is the wknd of the BC game (thank god).

Stupid people, getting married during football season!

Quote :
"Q&A with Dana Bible
N.C. State offensive coordinator Dana Bible discusses some of the team's freshmen and more:

Q: Can you talk about your rookie running backs (James Washington and Brandon Barnes)? Both of them got a shot last week.
A: In both cases it was a chance for them to play in a game situation. The value of that is tremendous. We didn’t back off. They had to work all aspects of the offense from running the football to blocking and protection to catching the football. A running back in this offense is multi-purpose, and it’s a position that a lot is asked of it, and they were excited about their opportunity.

Q: At the tight end position, (freshman) Asa Watson looks like he’s getting some snaps on offense now. What has he shown you that merits that?
A: He did a fine job in camp. He certainly has great energy and he has talent. And he is eager and anxious to do well. Our situation has allowed him to find his way on the field.

Q: How much do you talk to a Jay Smith about having a big chance go right through his hands?
A: We talk to all our players about a term that we use, it’s called GAPs. Game-Altering Plays. We talk about that every week. Often. Coach always preaches to the team and in particular the offense that you don’t know which play it’s going to be, the play that turns the outcome of the game to successful or not. Which is why you have to play every play like it is the game-altering play. So our approach never changes. No matter who the player is, you have to play each play like it is the play that will determine the outcome of the game.

Q: How much progress has your offensive line made from Week One to Week Two?
A: We feel like we’re moving in the right direction. It’s always good to get out that second game and that third game, because often those are the kind of games where you can really make some strides. It’s game speed. You have real evidence out there to build off and teach off, and you have a chance to improve."

Don't live in Raleigh, and have to work on Saturdays. Plus, I tend to spend way too much money on beer and food when I come to State games, so I always factor that in.

^^^^If you're willing to pay then just park in somebody's lawn. Drive down Youth Center and there are people renting our their lawns for $10/car

It is super close to the stadium, and safer than other places because the people usually stay out there all night.

my resolution was to ATTEND the gw game and watch the pitt game in crystal clear hd. You see both games and don't have to pay a dime. Thats the best possible combination as all others involve missing the GW game all together or paying to watch it in piss quality.

when you say you don't have to pay a dime, i'm assuming you mean IF you live in raleigh and IF you are a student to get a free student ticket

and the quality isn't that bad...very watchable

Either she's playing y'all, or she's hopped up on goofballs and not making sense.

I'll be there, watching it in "human definition". But I'll be paying face value for the tic.
