i can't really answer that question. if the united states stays relatively rich and the divide between rich and poor doesn't become even worse than it is now, then yeah most probably will.
of course that doesn't mean we should be closing libraries right now or that libraries won't serve a good purpose (maybe in a modified form) even if most have access to the internet

I don't disagree, I just think computers are so insanely cheap nowadays (ie, $100 for a desktop, $350 for a laptop, less than that for netbooks) that it won't be long before everyone is connected
