Honestly, I'm disappointed that House (mostly) got his way once again. As much as I love the rest of the Scooby gang, I feel like House is somehow cheapening the progress that he made while in the psych ward. He had to go away and work out his problems, then he came back, but was somehow shocked that the rest of the world marched on without him.

Others may disagree, but I think it'd be good for him if he was forced to bite the bullet and accept that nobody wants to work for him again. For once, he doesn't get his cake and eat it too. Then he could apply some of those skills that he learned while in the ward. Oh, and as much as I love Cuddy , House needs to get over her too. He had his chance, he blew it, life's a bitch.

Quick note - I haven't watched the show since this season's first episode, so I'm sure I'm missing out on a lot of stuff.

I don't think that Cuddy wanted to "owe" House anything for the tickets.

Props to her for not letting him ruin thanksgiving, she knew what was going on and I'm glad she finally took a (super passive aggressive) stand on it.

I think it was more to point out how they're both rubbing off on each other.

Wilson with the diagnosing and touch of evil at the end, and House showing up for his surgery and looking out for him.

Personally, I hope they do more of these in the future. I think Wilson used to be more of a foil for House. Somewhere in like the 3rd or 4th season they decided him to just make him his whining mother. "House you shouldn't do that, but if you do I will love you anyways." Jeez.

i like how they showed house's hijinx from the outside as an ancillary to wilson's story, like him showing up drenched, diagnosing the fat hispanic dude as a tennis pro, popcorn gas scarring lungs, removing a screw and not getting better, etc.

also wilson is a good character, so it's nice to see him developed more

I thought the episode was super depressing but it was a great episode and a fun way to learn more about what Wilson is like (german porn?!) and see how he goes through his days in the hospital when House isn't around.

I like how in the end, she asked for House's opinion, because he is her daddy and she knows it. Her success and strength on that deal was channeled vicariously through House.

I liked the episode, not as much as I liked the Wilson episode though.

On a separate note As Good as it Gets was on tv the other day and I noticed:

When Nicholson goes to the restaurant in the beginning of the movie and 2 people are at his table causing him to have one of his minor freakouts...the 2 people at the table are Cuddy and Taub
