Haha but yeah you know it's really gotta suck when you go from being able run super fast and be anywhere almost instantly to being able to... see colors. It's a good thing Hiro just showed so he can get another cool power, cause seeing colors is seriously the lamest power ever.

My thoughts on this season so far:

-Hiro has gone from being one of the better characters with one of the coolest powers to being just plain annoying.
-Deaf girl is boring, and I don't care about her or her power. Give her a purpose in the main story arc (beyond being peter's love interest) or give her a lot less screen time.
-Based on the preview for the next episode, it looks like Parkman will be showing up again... fuck that guy, the show is better without him.
-I'm glad this last episode didn't have anything to do with Claire. Her acting is not good, and her character is almost completely irrelevant. She only exists to be a hot girl, and frankly if I want to look at hot chicks, I'm going to surf the internet and not watch Heroes.
-What ever happened to that compass? Maybe I just don't remember, or maybe the writers just haven't bothered to mention it for an episode or two, but are they going to be pulling that little plot device back out of their asses later?
-What is up with tattoo girl? What, exactly, is her power? Are we to assume she can just sort of discover other heroes who are potential carnival members?
-It's taken this fucking long for a real antagonist to appear/for the antagonist's motivation to be revealed? Really? ...In a way I'm happy, because it gives some continuous meaning to absolutely all the content in the show. Up until this, I've just been looking at the plot of this season and asking "So what's the point? There's no conflict here, just meaningless shit happening with known characters."
-They finally reveal the main villain and his motivation, and it's the exact same fucking thing as Magneto in X-Men? That the mutants are being oppressed by society, so they need to form their own collective and fight off the supposed oppressors? Are they kidding me with this shit? Why am I not just ignoring this show and it's bullshit?
-...At least Sylar is back in a primary role.

Supposed oppressors? The entirety of last season was them being hunted down and captured. I think, within the framework of the show, they've got the right to be a little up in arms.

Other than Sylar there has been no plot so far this season, it is pissing me off. And the whole Hiro dying thing is not a good arc.

Why didn't Peter just teleport the healer to Hiro? Taking the power then driving seemed lame.

And I don't like them sending Hiro back to save Charlie. Did he learn nothing from his dad's speech about changing fate before getting murdered by Adam Monroe?

Many of you don't even understand the show. Sure, its no lost but its a great show with decent writing. No real plot but no show that lasts this long has a distinct ongoing plot. Why do you guys like season 1 so much? I thought that was the weakest plot. Save the cheerleader, save the world? I remember NYC being in danger, but not the whole world.

Sylar clearly told Matt that when he went into his head to plant nathan's life, Sylar held onto Matt without letting go and now Sylar's "soul" is trapped in Matt's mind demanding to be taken back to his proper body. this is dealing with the irish guys power. It goes leads him to other people with powers. When peter was in the park and had the compass, it went off around deaf chick.

AFter shaking hands, he had the compass on his arm in the park and then went to Noah to ask him about it (since he didn't know he'd been in contact with a hero) and the compass was gone because he wasn't near a hero. He saw the kids singing with the deaf chick after pulling her out of the front of the bus.

I love lost more than anything ever but it hasn't had a plot. First it was numbers then it was daddys then it was creepy fast primitive people in the jungle whispering then it was lets leave the island then it was lets go back then it was travel through time now its jacob. The plot has been a complete clusterfuck and we still don't know whats going on with anything but these shows don't need clear, linear plots. Its more like a survival movie.


o and lidia(sp) is a 3rd generation watcher. Some watchers paint the future, some dream the future, she shows the future through her body.

why is walt important and where was he last season?

jacob is the main character in the plot and he JUST came into the whole show about 2 episodes ago. the 2nd most important character entered the show on the season 5 finale.

so 5 seasons went by before we found out anything about the 2nd most imporant character.


I'm not hating. I'm not having trouble following along. I'm just pointing out that the plot of lost has changed so many times I don't even know where to begin naming them. Getting off the island was the main plot for 3 seasons.

i have a feeling peter is going to get his original power restored somehow (baby matt parkman maybe?) and he'll be able to use everything he's acquired since he lost them.

btw...are we supposed to believe that Samuel went from being a 40 year old drunk who acts like a teenager to suddenly being a leader of specials within 8 weeks? it seems like it would take longer to bring so many people together that quickly, especially if he didn't have tattoo girl right away.

and it continues to piss me off what they do with Chandra Suresh...in season 1 his research was all based on theories and he was out to prove that specials existed...but since the end of last season its been all about how he knew for sure back in the 60s.

And how did Samuel survive Coyote Falls anyway? Did he leave before Angela's sister killed everyone?

when angela and the gang started the company, they went ahead and hatian'ed everyone involved in that specials internment camp.

his research in season one was after he started again from scratch.

heroes is riddled with plot holes, but that isn't one of them.
