As a sports journalist, he said he based this simply off the SC game, which shows how lazy he is. The last 5 games of last year ought to have any DefCoord in the country having sleepless nights. I love how he says that was bad football game because Pitt lost. From a defensive and special teams perspective for us it wasn't perfect but the offense played great. I still am excited about this team and this season.

If he was sitting in the press box like 99 percent of media does, you can't hear A THING in there. So, one of two things happened: 1. He's claiming the crowd didn't affect the game, when in fact, he has no idea because it's basically sound proof in the press box. OR 2. He didn't sit in the press box, which is doubtful because of the rain, and slightly unprofessional.
