I only clarify it (and you might be thinking of the right pass) because people keep seeming to think that Harrison Beck's hail mary at the end of that game was Russell's only pick when it was really an earlier pass that Russell overthrew right to the safety.

Well he's never been more than an average (at best) pocket passer.

His legs make him, and if he's unwilling to use them in order to protect his baseball future then I can't fault him on a personal level but as a football player he is nowhere near elite at the college level.
