^yea me too

last nights episode was spectacular

my only problems were that the ACORN thing and the "do you know what i am saying" seemed very forced

with the "do you know what i am saying," he doesnt have to say it slangy like a gangtaish person would do, but he wasnt even making the "i'm" contraction, just seemed too unnatural trying to accentuate his whiteness.

other than that: magic. usually all the other cops follow behind that cops stupid ideas like it is normal, kinda funny to see their expressions, "maybe taking this too far?"

i liked when he was going to "take care of his daddy" he was walking a little rough from the gang bang, good times

the point wasn't to accentuate his whiteness by making it sound ironic. The point was, Butters thought the pimps were saying it as a real question, and that's just how pimps talk, so he was emulating them.

And i'm glad they did that, because it annoys me to no end when rappers (or actors, athletes, whatever) say "know what i'm sayin'" literally multiple times per sentence sometimes. It's ridiculous, knowwhatimsayin?

nawm sayn nawm sayn nawm sayn nawm sayn nawm sayn nawm sayn nawm sayn nawm sayn

btw its the same public speaking equivalent of white people saying "you know" or "um" or "like"

none are good, just adding perspective

I like how the cop dyed his mustache blonde instead of shaving.

Just noticed tonight, when the wrestling coach is looking at the newspaper (headline is about Vince McMahon coming to town) the article at the bottom right has the title "Ballon Story's a Hoax".

Probably all you'll get.

it was ok

maybe if i had ever heard of the tv show it would be better

and the politics sometimes get in the way of the funny, i frequently agree with their sentiments, and their points that both sides of the issue have crazy people, but the end was pretty dumb for them.

this topic ddint really deserve an ep, imo, but i guess they felt strongly enough...

^^ I think this topic deserved an episode. I actually just watched the documentary, The Cove http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cove_(film), I feel like this issue is getting very little exposure in the US. If South Park helps, yay!

i was a big fan of whale wars. And south park nailed it on the head- when i watched i often acknowledged how little they actually did and described captain paul in the same words southpark used- a fat narcoleptic lazy liar.

awesome episode.

If whale wars did what Capt Nemo did in "20,000 leagues under the sea" it might be a cool show

"I have to say that being lampooned on South Park is hardly something to complain about. They spelt Sea Shepherd right and they brought the issue of the dolphin and whale slaughter by the Japanese to a very large audience. I could not really care less how I was portrayed personally, I’m in good company along with Tom Cruise and Sean Penn.”

It’s a tough situation we are in. We can’t hurt the whalers and we have to stay within the boundaries of the law in opposing illegal whaling operations. If that makes us pussies so be it, it’s better than being portrayed as killers. The point however that was missed is that we have cut the Japanese kill quotas in half over the last three years and cost them their profits. Our objective is to bankrupt them and we are doing just that.

South Park has however linked Japan to the horrific and senseless slaughter of dolphins and whales and all in all that’s a damn good message in our opinion.

What the Whale Whores episode also achieved was to highlight just how successful Whale Wars has been as a television show and how Sea Shepherd is out on the high seas actually trying to do something about the problem.
