Anyone see the Spurs game last night?

There was a bat in the building flying around the court and Ginobili knocked it out of midair...pretty crazy

Nash looking real good early. Thought he was going to continue in his decline this year...and although that's still possible, he's looking as good as his MVP years a couple years ago.

They're back to the SSOL style of play

Having them intergrate Shaq and play slower killed Nash last year; it was like putting Drew Brees in an option offense

I'll prob end up getting fed up with nba but I'm more interested in the beginning of this yr than I have been for a while, mainly cause I think the talent and competition level should be way up instead of just celtics/lakers like last yr

plus a couple of dumbassed trades turned me off last yr (dallas, suns), while this yr I think instead of teams going downhill there can be 10 possible elite teams by year end

i'm more interested this year, because i'm playing fantasy for the first time.

surprisingly, grant hill's been looking good for the suns, as well.

Cavs struggling at 3-3 right now. Looking like the Suns, having a hard time integrating Shaq into their style. Also like the no-call on Lebron at the end of the game. Good to see the refs not succumb to the pressure of calling a foul for the superstar. Although Wade probably would have gotten that call.

^just came here to post that. let's hope he reps us well. seems like every time i see him play, he's sucking it up.

lol, and his first turnover turns into two for ny

and he makes it up with two of his own!

AND THE JAM! 4 for hickson already.

best shooter in the league.

I couldn't stand watching the Lebron game, because all they talked about was his free agency.

Nash with 21 and 20 last night...putting up numbers superiors to his MVP years. I know the Suns are decent, but still a little surprised they are looking THIS good. I know they'll drop off at some point...but how big will the drop off be??

Spurs put up 131...without Duncan and Parker. They're better with Duncan...but he definitely slows them down. Manu with 36 off the bench...don't understand how Parker and Duncan are out and he's still coming off the bench...but that's why Popovich is a NBA head coach and I'm not.

And Warriors put up 146...in regulation. Jesus.

Lebron isn't going to the Knicks

If he goes anywhere near that area it will be to the Nets. I saw earlier where he had to clear up the whole "max contract vs winning" argument the 4 letter was trying construe. They were thinking he would go somewhere for less than the max to get a great shot at a title and he simply stated that he wanted to win more than money, but money is important too.

If he really cares about winning titles as he claims, then the only place for him is Orlando. He and Dwight Howard would form the most formidable duo in NBA history. I know the Kobe/Shaq duo was nice, but LBJ and DH would pull down more than the three those two had together.

Hurray for the Suns being the Suns again. Must watch game should be Suns v. Nuggets or Warriors to see how many points will be scored.

Last few years Paul seemed to have gotten the best of Nash...but Steve made him look silly a couple times last night. My how the Hornets have regressed.

Good game tonight b/w the Suns and Lakers. Lakers have had like a month off, but the Suns got their starters a lot of rest last night. Should be fun.

Can someone who's familiar with NBA contracts explain the incentive to re sign with your current team when you become a free agent. They said that the maximum New York can offer Lebron is 90 over 5, but that Cleveland can offer 120 over 5. Of course that just base salary, and doesn't cover the overkill he would make in endorsements being in NY.

Someone needs to make a youtube highlight of the top 10 posterized dunks. I feel like the Wade over Sideshow Bob would be in the top 5 mainly because of what happened to Verajao after the dunk. He almost flipped over as he slid into the bottom of the basket. Mostly defenders just fall straight down or stumble back a little...he just got bowled over and pushed back about 5 feet.

And I thought Jennings would do well...but this is pretty ridiculous.

And Nash and the Suns pull out a good game in Toronto last night. I want to look at their game against LA as an aberration, seeing that they were on their 7th road game in 10 days, 2nd game of a back-to-back, and LA had 3 days off to rest and prepare. LA is definitely better...but the Suns aren't as far behind as that game would indicate (although I think they don't match-up well with the Lakers either).

haha for the record, i'm not hating on delk

but he scored 50 points in a game...TWICE...and half the people on here probably havent heard of him

i like jennings and think going to europe for a year, and coming into the league and doing well, is a great "fuck you" to the minimum age rules...but time will tell

yeah but are they THE worst team in nba history

i mean EXPANSION TEAMS win 15-20 games a year...will they win double digits? they are an established franchise that was in the NBA Finals for a few straight years not too long ago...how do you fall off THAT BADLY?
