I almost hope that we get lose by getting torched by their QB, if it means Mike Archer getting canned.

I never *actually* hope for us to lose, but... well, long-term benefits, and all that.

I didn't and still don't like Sidney Lowe but I still pull for the team to win. I even decided to say that he gets this year from me as well and I've been as hard as anyone on him.

^Again, I don't *actually* want us to lose... this is NC State, I'll take every win we can get. Just saying that if Archer were out there would be a bright side.

Of course, if we manage to win but still get torched by their QB, to the point where Archer were on the hot seat or out of a job... well, that'd just work out well for everyone. Except Archer himself, obviously.

best way to handle this is to bet large sums of money on our opponents. Max out your bet at how much you'd pay if someone said, "hey, I can guarantee a wolfpack win if you just fork over $x"

then if the pack loses, at least you made some cash.

Is there anybody in here who would like to see James Washington get a few snaps Sat? I mean T-bake is a solid back with loads of smashmouth strength but Jamelle seems to get stuffed too often to be his back-up. I would like to see someone who can make some defenders miss and maybe hit a higher gear if he does get through. Despite being young, I thought Brandon Barnes was supposed to be the future answer to that and his few snaps weren't impressive in the least (he looked a lot bigger too) than when he arrived here as that highly-recruited "athlete". Do we really have anything to lose experimenting with the 2nd string backfield?

^I've liked what I've seen from Washington, and maybe he should get some more snaps since Eugene isn't playing particularly well (maybe he still has some lingering injury). There's no way he should get more carries than Baker though. Brandon Barnes hasn't been at all impressive, makes you wonder if we should have kept him at Safety since we really need to shore up that position.

the problem with eugene is that we always run him on that retarded shotgun sweep when A) we dont have the blocking for it and B) even though he's a "speed" back he's really not the type of guy that can beat an entire team to the outside corner so 90% of the time he just runs for -2 yards

it seems like we run those 2 plays at least once a drive. usually 2 or 3 times each and teams read easily now.

If I didn't know who made that picture or why, I'd have no idea who's winning. I'd assume the bird, though, because the wolf is saying/thinking a skull, and looks a bit worried (while the eagle looks sort of happy).

Though the ambiguousness does represent the current state of our football season pretty well, it's not really that great for pure NCSU support.

The sad thing is we are still divisional contenders. Clemson is giving Wake a smacking at the moment, and if that continues, then Maryland will be the only team with less than 2 conference losses, but that shouldn't last long.
