I don't like that Lana Lang from Smallville is gonna be on it. I don't really like her and I don't want her to come between Chuck and Sarah. I know they'll never get to be together but I don't want Lana (or whatever her real name is) there. She is gonna mess everything up!

really? I thought it was the best of the season. Actually, the first one this season that made me glad it was renewed.

Lot's of laughs - Awesome was awesome (at least at the beginning), a "Frak off" t-shirt. Chuck actually grew as a spy. Minusch was funny, very well cast and appropriately geeky. Some recalls of past events. Morgan and Ellie actually getting suspicious. All around, good stuff.

i guess they're trying to balance turning chuck into a real spy with letting him stay endearingly goofy. i just don't want to see him start getting too callous.

^^That tension is still totally there...every time they interact with each other on a personal level...and now on missions all they mostly seem to do is bicker at each other. Don't be surprised to see it come back with a vengance later in the season.

i like the way morgan got involved in the spy stuff this episode. small enough that it isn't dangerous to him...but just enough to be useful. it'll be interesting to see if that balance is maintained.

they should end the season there. Apparently this was supposed to be the season finale, until NBC ordered 6 more episodes. Especially if Chuck isn't picked up for another season, this would have been a perfect series finale.
