Mike Patrick is the worst announcer ever, he doesnt have a better sport, he is just as bad at football as he is at basketball. and by bad I mean, he doesnt even sound like he knows what the fuck sport he is watching

I hate him so much, he is worse than every other announcer combined.

It's a national travesty that NBC no longer does baseball. Bob Costas should be the voice of the playoffs, World Series, and any big late season games. Not to mention, NBC doing baseball means no more Tim McCarver.

I can't believe that the whitest-sounding black dude in broadcasting is getting so much love from you all. I'm not a fan of Gus Johnson at all. I also can't stand Kenny Alberts, any woman with a microphone at a sports game other then Erin Andrews, Dan Dierdorf, and too many Raycom announcers to name.

I'll chime in on hockey announcers, cause there's lots of really good ones. Starting with the best:

Darren Pang
Gary Thorne
Bill Clement
Peter Forslund

The worst hockey announcer by far is Pierre Maguire with Tripp Tracy a distant second.

^^its John Forslund damnit...and yeah, he's awesome. If hockey had a MNF-type broadcast in America, I think he would be one of the top candidates for calling it...although i guess they do with the VS national game on Mondays, which he often calls.

Who I like:
-Bill Raftery for sheer hilariousness and he seems like just a great guy
-Verne Lunquist has that big-game feel to his voice, Jim Nance also sorta has the same effect to me.
-Brad Nessler and Todd Blackledge doing college football
-GUS JOHNSON, no explanation needed
