The team obviously really let down after they got that 9 point 2nd half lead, but the officiating was absolutely embarrassing. They let a ridiculous amount of over the back calls go, and there was one instance where I saw that huge girl on UNC slip and fall on her ***, followed by a call where the referee called a push when the closest Pack player was a good 5 feet away. It was realllllly bad.

Also there was some blue there because they bussed people from Chapel Hill, but it was overwhelmingly red with Pack fans. They started a Tar Heel chant which was very quickly drowned out.

I did go to the Hoops for Hope game tonight and really enjoyed it. I decided to buy the book When March Went Mad in the auction because I wanted to read about a time when NC State basketball was worth a shit. Overall, it was a good night.

I wanna see the women's team get to be a national power not only for the program itself, but to see Reynolds get completely packed again once or twice a year. I did like seeing shit for sale in the concourses too, and not completely empty aside from concessions. After going to the first half today though, I have to say that our athletics dept. needs to clean Reynolds up a bit. Duke redid Cameron with new lights, new/brass railings and wood paneling, etc. Reynolds has the original red painted railing with paint chipping off, a jumbotron without video, dark lights, and dirty as hell windows. Clean the damn place up a bit.

A new videoboard is on track to be installed for next season. The lights are actually only a couple of seasons old, they just use the ones in the middle to keep cost down and the sound system is the one the RBC Center had before the recent upgrade.

Maybe it is just that the endzones look so dark, but Cameron looks a LOT brighter than Reynolds on TV and in person. I just think giving Reynolds a facelift would be really simple and do a lot for the place. I didn't know a new video board was going to be put in next year. This is the same one they've had since they first installed a jumbotron sort of thing right?

Im also a bit annoyed by how the windows apparently have the same paint on them from the 50s...I love being able to see the history of the place, but damn. Its probably the biggest eyesore of the building, and I cant imagine it would be THAT expensive to fix either.

Great win, fun game...Im not a fan of Debra Morgan referring to NC State as "we" though. Of course Im also not a fan of anything that continues to perpetuate the myth of news folk thinking they are "celebrities".

I emailed the guy who handles all the indoor facilities about any changes to Reynolds and was told:
