8th grade

i was joshin around with a dude in the lockerroom after PE and he wasnt too much in the mood so he shoved me back and i shoved him over the bench and he really got up and came after me then we both got ISS

it was one of those things where he was serious but i ws feelin like we was still jokin around until he came at me after i had pushed hm over the bench

it was my fault i should have been horsin with him like that but he was in a foul mood i reckon that day, i didnt mean to push him over the bench either

i dont believe in fighting i think its stupid and it just gets you wrapped up in shit and killed nowadays, i dont get into it with anybody i just let people be, i dont get in fights cuz i dont mess with nobody, keep my circle small, and try to be friendly and humorous with everyone and i dont get offended over shit

I agree with this for the most part, but I don't see any problem with two adults choosing to settle their problem this way as long as they are both willing participants. I hate stuff like fjjackso's and terpball's stories from the first page where someone takes a sucker punch and runs off. Sadly, there aren't a lot of "fair fights" in the real world which is why you're almost always going to be better off in the long run if you can develop a thick skin and learn to let some things slide. You really are letting other people drag you down if you get caught up in their stupid shit. Not saying I haven't or won't let it happen again, but we don't always follow what we know is best for ourselves.

bad-blood type fight? Probably about 3 years ago...big brawl broke out at this bar/outdoor concert, due to a group of guys being real douchebags. The bouncers were having trouble getting it under control, so I jumped in to take out one of the troublemakers...unfortunately, in the confusion, I ended up strangling one of the bouncers.


other than that, I guess about a year ago, doing groundfighting training while I was in Iraq.

a month ago. threw a small beer pong party. unwanted guests showed up. one of them, fucked up on xanax and beer, couldn't handle being turned away and started swinging. i laughed and mocked as i dodged his wild haymakers. at the start of it all, i assumed he would eventually pull a pistol or knife, and he did. sustained a relatively small cut on a thumb during the ensuing disarmament. party continued after a little cleanup. got drunk in no time (due to loss of blood?). met a cute redhead. passed out for some minutes. woke up. got laid. the end.

I don't get into fights, it doesn't solve anything, and who can tell when someone might be packing something more than fists?

Then again, I don't really get that pissed off much either, so who can say what I would think is a good solution to something at the time.

The last fight I was in was 6th grade I believe.

Some dude was jumping his skateboard off of a bookshelf while the teacher was out of the room. We were supposed to catch him. Everyone else just let him drop, and I tried to catch him, he busted his ass but still was pissed at me for some reason and started swinging.

i was in a lot of fights as a kid in elem/middle/high school. a few in the Navy after that, but they were mostly just fools beating chest.

since that time, ive had a couple "fights" when i was really too wasted to fight. and i wouldnt really call them fights, just getting stupid and fucking around. someone will get a bloody nose and that pretty much is the end of it.

6th grade. Some foul-mouthed little punk who always traveled with 1-2 football players before he would talk trash. He harassed me for months but 1 vs 3 wouldn't have been smart but one day both of our buses were late and he showed up with a guy whom I had never met before. He started talking trash and pushed me so I pushed back. He swung and missed and I caught him square in the nose knocking him on his ass. He got up and ran like a little bitch.

That was just the last fight I was in. I was in quite a few before that throughout elementary school with various levels of success.
