I'm honestly wondering here, is the Stanky Leg a joke? Is the song itself a joke, or did someone seriously make it hoping that other people would take it as a serious song? I haven't managed to find any evidence to suggest that it's a parody, and am forced to assume that someone really produced something that terrible and that there are people in the world who genuinely like something that terrible.

possibility != certainty, for one thing. Not sure where you're getting that idea from.

I didn't even imply that this kid is certain to never know good music. In general, though, what a parent exposes their kid to can heavily influence what that kid grows up liking (though it can have more of a reverse influence... the kid liking something in spite of what the parents did)... teaching a child to enjoy having terribly low standards just doesn't come off as a decent thing at all to me, even if it's hardly guaranteed to wreck his or her future.
