well, we can make lots of hypotheticals. I would just be uncomfortable if I casually, but clearly, implied that an employee who had surgery ought to be back working from home the day after their surgery, that's all.

it doesn't make a difference to me...

And with that, I agree wholly.

But when it comes to making claims of illegal vs not, 'being a decent person' and crap like morals are irrelevant for reasoning and citations.

i.e., you were either attempting to spread misinformation, or look ignorant.

It's not illegal to ask someone to do a little work when they are off for whatever reason, is all I am saying.

And sending a simple e-mail that requires a simple reply is hardly asking someone to work.
