well, we can make lots of hypotheticals. I would just be uncomfortable if I casually, but clearly, implied that an employee who had surgery ought to be back working from home the day after their surgery, that's all.it doesn't make a difference to me...

It's not illegal to ask someone to do a little work when they are off for whatever reason, is all I am saying.And sending a simple e-mail that requires a simple reply is hardly asking someone to work.
