we humiliated them last year in CH and they expect they'll do the same this year, and they want to see it in person. add in general fan apathy for State at this point, and i expect far more UNC fans in the building than normal.

I was hoping they played some scrub team in bball that day b/c we all know all UNC fans would have stayed home to watch their bball team pound on a nobody before go to a football game. Unfortunately they play Sunday.

Still, its UNC football. They have not had a full stadium for one home game this year with a potentially 9-3 football team.

This is the thing about NC State fans. NC State fans don't follow the same bandwagon bullshit that seemingly every single fucking UNC fan on the face of planet falls into. No, NC State's fans are hardcore and for real. It takes a certain amount of dedication to root for a team that isn't exactly stellar, and that is exactly why NC State fans are arguably the most hardcore fans of all of NC's universities.

The opposing virtue to this loyalty to the Wolfpack is an indefatigable hatred for UNC. Ask any hardcore state fan you can find; most of the time they could care less about having a losing season as long as we beat UNC. I'm the same way. We could lose every fucking game this year; Duke, Wake Forest, V-Tech, etc etc etc. But as long as we beat UNC, the season is a win in my book.

Therefore, if we lose this weekend..............I say we all storm the fucking field and show Mike Archer how we really feel.

It's easy to be sarcastic and negative about our team and even though I prioritize bowl ambitions over tarholes I emplore wolfpack nation: Everybody who CAN make it please show up to the game so we as wolfpackers can save some face! Nothing to lose as the season has been a goner, and if we have can go fucking crazy in the stands for 4 quarters we have a better shot. I live right off their campus and try my best everyday not to set fire to it. And I am not about to take any shit from any of their alleged football "fans nor am I trying to make the Daily tarheel for some stupid felony charges. So let's be loud and proud (at least of the fact we don't hail from UNC) and tailgate like hell and enjoy the last game of the season, just to fuck with any UNC fans that might pass or be setting up shop nearby. But more importantly lets deafen these fudgepackers for coming to our stadium and make them those second-guess their decision to go there if they were actually expecting any genuine excitement about football from their punkass students. We made the right choice to go to State (believe me as I see it everyday), now let's take advantage and rape these motherfuckers (and their fake cocksuckers) the moment they step off the bus.

this game means nothing at all to college football. Nothing is on the line and people trying to hype it up like our super bowl makes it even MORE embarrassing in front of unc fans that are already looking downward. Even if we win it doesn't make things better at all. Its like they've already won.

I don't know what outcome I want. If we win then all of you are happy and deem the season as a sucess which will add a few more years onto how long nc state football will be complete garbage. If we lose, we lose and you never WANT to lose, especially to UNC but this is about as close as it gets. UNC fans will still have legitamate smack to talk if we win by 50 about how "you're our rival but we're not your rival and so on" because its basically a glorified bye week at the end of the season for them. They don't really have anything to gain or lose.

I can't believe this years basketball team is better than football. This was worse than the "gavin won't lose 4 games grant" basketball season.
