The big thing is I need to get said boat to Port Canaveral first. It sits in Oriental, lol.

a $1000 is really high for a bachelorette party. i've been to 3 destination bachelorette parties within the last year and one cost (total price) about $150 (2 nights in Ocean Isle in August), the second cost (total price) $300 (3 nights in Savannah during St. Patty's Day weekend), and the third cost (total price) $300-350 (2 nights in Charleston, SC in August). this included all my food and drinks, party favors for the lingerie party, and my portion for fuel.

i did go to another bachelorette party in the spring of this year and the bride wanted something low key so we just went out one night in Raleigh. we had a nice dinner together and then hung out and drank. it actually ended up being a lot of fun because there wasn't a high level of expectation.

when you spend that much on something for someone else, you expect to have the best time ever so when it doesn't work out that way, you get annoyed that you fronted that much money and didn't really get much out of it.
