I still won't smoke it - it makes my eyes hurt.alcohol will still reign supreme.crime will go up, but only because we'll have to come up with new shit to criminalize and prosecute in order to keep our oversized law enforcement and judicial programs employed.

I have been legally able to smoke cigarettes for 13 years and I have yet to try one. Nor will I ever.So I don't see how legal weed will be any different.

I will not smoke it, I will vaporize it or eat it. Why inhale burning plant matter when you can inhale vaporized THC and drastically, if not completely, remove the harmful effects of smoke inhalation (Doctor Recommended for Cancer Patients)?Pot and Alcohol are both distinct drugs, and one will never substitute the other. Keg parties will continue to reign supreme, alcohol has reigned supreme in cultures all across the world throughout time. Even Jesus threw the ancient equivalent of a keg party, and he's supposedly the Messiah. The thing about pot is, you can do it at anytime, anywhere, in relative safety. Whereas with Alcohol, a lot more preparation and precaution is required. Plus people bent on getting drunk are seeking the unexpected and the lack of inhibitions, while people getting high typically sit back and enjoy the experience. In regards to crime, many drug dealers will lose their business and their cash flow. As a result, these individuals with either give it up, or pursue harder drugs to maintain their lifestyle. I don't know if you can really say whether or not crime will go up or down, unless you are asking in the short-term or in the long-term. I believe that overall, it will be good for crime in the long-term, in that, police officers will be able to focus on real crime. Overall crime will probably drop in the short-term, but violent crime may increase, I don't know honestly. It really depends on what the drug dealers do as a result of losing all that capital to the state.

i've stopped smoking and doubt i would start again because my choice in stopping has nothing to do in regards to legality.keg parties will still remain supreme. all my friends smoked, but we threw keggers not pot parties. however, at any kegger there will be people who bring their pot and will eventually form a large circle in the backyard or end up in a closed off room with the owners who smoke. this will not be altered. crime rates will drop sharply only because marijuana arrests which are ~25% of our imprisonment would end. after this immediate change the crime would cease to drop. as a result prisons will be a lot roomier.

smoke it? Yup....I'm thinking that if it were legalized the number of users would not increase so drastically. Keg parties will still dominate, If i had to choose one or the other. They will just merge realistically. Sure there will be get togethers where all people do is smoke pot, but i dont see marijuana parties getting nearly as large as keg parties without both of the substances being at the same location. And the simple fact will still stand that it will be easier to hook up at a keg party than a pot party.I think there will be less crime, but not that much less. People will just sell something else they will get arrested for. Shakespeares got to get paid!!! [Edited on December 4, 2009 at 10:17 AM. Reason : d]

will you smoke it? Probably as much as I currently do ... 1-5 times per year. I prefer wine.which will dominate, keg parties or pot parties? Pot and kegs go hand-in-hand. No need to segregate the two.will there be less or more crime? There will be fewer pot-related crimes.
