My ringtone for nearly 2 years has been a MIDI version of "Pacific 707" by 808 State: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HMt-42LAQE

It's one of the best tracks that has a MIDI version that sounds like the original; listen about 23 seconds in to understand why it makes a good ringtone (I clipped the MIDI to that portion).

When and if I get a phone that can play MP3 ringtones, I'll probably make one from "Unholy Grail" by DJ Dara and A-Sides (from about 2:34 in): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WLKDsvA9mE
