OK, but how does that mean that they beat us by double digits? I highly doubt the spread will be 9 or more. It seems to me that you're making Arizona out to be some high scoring powerhouse, and the reality is that, this year at least, they are anything but.

^oh ok, you're right...obviously we're going to lose by double digits to a 4-5 team just because Arizona is on the front of their jerseys. I doubt any of you have actually watched them play this year, you're just assuming that they are significantly better than us because of their tradition or some other idiotic assumption.

We have to fly across the country and play at 10:30 at night. 4 out of their 5 losses were on the road. The 5th was at home vs. #24 UNLV. Except for Marquette, we haven't really beaten anyone, and even Marquette is debatable. It's not as simple as 4-5 vs. 7-1.

I agree, it will come down to the wire if Javi isn't playing. If he is, I'd like to think we'll hold a lead most of the game and win somewhat comfortably (somewhere between 6 and 15 points).

I never claimed we were going to win easily, you said that you EXPECTED a double digit loss which I think is ridiculous given how Arizona has played so far this season.

if we beat wake we'll come out flat vs arizona and get beat by double digits

if we lose we'll play a tough game that could go either way and will probably come down to whether nic wise daggers us at the end or not

I know this is just a troll attempt, but I'm going to go ahead and say that Northwestern is better than Arizona this year and has beaten Iowa State and Notre Dame, and that's without their best player who got an early season ending injury. Northwestern is right now just outside of the AP's Top 25. Also we lost to NW on one of our worst shooting nights in years. We may or may not beat Arizona, but we certainly have a decent shot considering how both teams have played so far. Hell last year we lost a lot of close games too, but that doesn't mean we were a good team.

^I might be wrong, but I don't think there have been very many (if any at all) instances of an ACC team with 20 wins and atleast a .500 conference record being left out of the NCAA tourney.

at the moment i'd say we have one very good win(@ Marquette) and a couple decent wins(akron, auburn on neutral court).

other than that....we haven't done much because we haven't had to play anyone yet. That changes soon

Yeah, we haven't relly done anything so far this year. We have held some "shitty" teams to lower scores than other "good" teams did. The ACC is weak thought this year...

We are having a PHENOMENAL YEAR so far considering we're picked 12th in a very weak acc. We were supposed to be GARBAGE this year yet we could make it throught he entire schedule with no wtf losses, which is something that has NEVER happened.

I think in the long run a NW home victory would be better for RPI than a win at Marquette. NW seems legit this year while Marquette I'm not sure about.

I don't think this hypothetical will matter either way though once ACC play starts.
