maybe not my favorite game but definitely my favorite Panthers moment was against the Buccs the year after they won the Super Bowl...
Martin Gramatica had a United Way commercial premiere during that game where a kid programmed a computer game where he continuously blocked Gramy's kicks...IIRC the Panthers blocked his kick in real life right after that commercial break. Panthers won in overtime. 12/29/2009 2:36:43 AM |

^ I think you are talking about Kris Jenkins blocking that extra point at the very end of the game to preserve the victory. I agree, that was a great game. 12/29/2009 10:17:14 AM |

I couldn't remember if that was the winner or went into OT. I went to PFR and looked up the box and we kicked four FG, the last being in OT, to win 12-9.
Jake's line was 9-23 for 96 yds and 2 picks that day
Davis rushed for 142 on 33 carries
EDIT: We were also flagged 16 times for 120 yards. The Bucs were flagged 17 times for 168 yards. That's a shitload of penalties for one game!

Wasn't that year the start of the "last place NFC South team gets first the next year" trend? 12/29/2009 5:03:46 PM |
