Why can't GM fucking bring the hot rod Holdens and sell them in the US rebadged ad Pontiacs and Chevys? Well, they tried the Pontiac GTO and the G8. But seriously, Holden (GM) has been making awesome cars in Australia for a long time, and they never sold the goodness in the US until recently.= with the 2 Pontiacs.

The G8 GT wasn't a car they "tried". It's pretty much universally known to be an awesome car. Too bad Pontiac was axed, and the G8 wasn't deemed "union friendly".
