Why Conan won't go to Fox:

Right now, Fox stations show syndicated shows and news during the time that Conan would likely be on (10 to midnight). Stations get to keep all ad revenue for shows during that time. If they give time to the Fox national network, ad rev. goes to Fox, not the local affiliate. Therefore, it's unlikely that affiliates will see much of an upside from putting on a show that gives them no added rev., especially since they get perfectly good ratings with reruns of The Office and The Simpsons. (thanks to my gf who used to work for a local affiliate for this)

My prediction: he'll be on FX, USA, or TBS/TNT. His audience is savvy enough to catch him on the internet, so where ever he goes, he'll be seen. He'd be big for a cable network, though.

I'd love to see him on Comedy Central as part of a Daily Show, Colbert, CoCo night time lineup. I'd almost like to see Daily Show and Colbert pushed back a half hour so CoCo would then get an 11:30 slot on that network.

Just an idea, however I don't want it to seem like Jon and Stephen are getting shoved around. Would be more bad mojo.

I'd be more likely to watch him at 7pm than at 11:30. 7pm is just sort of a void for programming outside of syndicated shows.

I wanted to go to one of the NYC shows, but my schedule didn't work out. I bet they'll be awesome though.
