I'm anxious to see what Talbot has today. He locked down his spot in the rotation early while Huff, Laffey, and Carrasco were still battling in camp. Hopefully that translates into a better than average #5 starter.

Marson needs to get his ass in gear if he doesn't want to see a Santana call up in the near future. I haven't thought much of his defense (passed balls) and he has yet to record a hit to this point either.

^agreed. my friend who is a big tribe fan was telling me yesterday how much she liked Marson and thought he has a good future. I tend to agree with you though, all 4 of those wild pitch/passed balls couldnt have been westbrooks fault. Add that to his terrible hitting, and the fact that Santana has lit it up the first couple of games in the minors, and I think its going to be a quick call up for Carlos.

I'll have my button on the fantasy pickup button as soon as he is called up

and the tribe is already down 2-0 with one out in the 1st. Come on Talbot

his location is wayyyyy off right now. Was trying to throw it low and away, wound up throwing it slightly inside, right down the middle. Come on Talbot

The last 2 games have been rough.

3 in the bottom of the 9th in Detroit and then losing on a homer in extras today.

I just have to keep in mind that this club is young and be ready for the downs when they inevitable happen.

WE FINALLY WON SOMETHING

Quote :
"With 27 World Series championships, baseball's highest payroll and some of the most boastful fans in sports, the New York Yankees have to be the team other baseball fans love to hate, right? Wrong.

According to a formula created by The Neilsen Company, there are four teams more detested than the Bronx Bombers, The Wall Street Journal reported.

According to a report, Slider and his Cleveland Indians are baseball's Public Enemy No. 1 among fans.

The No. 1 most disliked team in baseball, according to the formula, is the Cleveland Indians. The Boston Red Sox, the Yankees' archrival, rank No. 2 on the list.

The formula helps determine whether consumers have positive, negative or neutral reactions to brands in their online messages. Neilsen's "Sentiment Rankings" range from 5 to minus-5. No team finished with a negative number. But six teams finished with a number lower than 2.

The rest of the not-so top 10: Chicago White Sox (No. 7), Baltimore Orioles (No. 8), New York Mets (No. 9) and Los Angeles Dodgers (No. 10).

At least one Indians blogger wasn't surprised by the findings.

"I can believe that though," Deep Left Field Indians blogger Ed Carroll told the newspaper. "The team does a lot to alienate its fans."

The Cincinnati Reds (No. 3) and Houston Astros (No. 4) also ranked higher than the Yankees on the hatred scale. The Washington Nationals (No. 6) were the only other team to have a number lower than 2.

The San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics were the most popular teams among fans, according to Neilsen's study."

I find it hard to believe more people hate the tribe than the yanks or sox though.

wow, that is really strange. I seriously cannot think of any reason why people would have a problem with the Indians. I thought they had a good reputation with the public due to the Major League movies

but seriously, fuck ESPN and Neilsen. They both get rich off of large market teams like NY.

I love being able to watch the indians on tv, but GOOD GOD I absolutely HATE watching on WGN and having to listen to Hawk and Steve Stone. They are on the same level as listening to Woody Durham call a Tarheels game with their overwhelming homer-ism

I don't mind homer announcers. I hate Hawk because he's an obnoxious piece of shit.
