There had been a lot of protests about using "stolen tribal lands" for the Olympics. Without these protests, I think there would have been a mention of the First Nations, but not the full blown parts they had.

I was more rolling my eyes at the wnba statement which was an obvious troll. I'm not into womens hockey because it lacks exposure and star power that provides extra excitement but its a team game so I'm sure its better than 90% of these winter "sports" and actually requires great athleticism.

How many events don't involve judges and have people compete simultaneously? I always like the moduls but lastnight a girl competed with a torn acl and that did it for me. How much athleticism does it really take if someone can still compete at the olympic level on a torn acl?
