And it's not the image the rider is thinking.3/23/2010 10:04:05 PM |

New to riding (own a honda shadow, current light of my life) and I want to get further into it with a HD. I really like the Dyna, but I can't really figure the differences in the models.
Anybody got any info / opinions to share?" |

All the rest of this thread is meaningless...well apart from the people posting actual answers to my original statement. Granted I guess I should have been a little more specific.3/24/2010 12:27:06 AM |

If someone posted a thread asking how best to amputate their own penis, I would probably respond in telling them that amputating their own penis is a terrible idea and they are being retarded for even asking about it.
Just because you asked a question, doesn't mean the rest of us can't or shouldn't attempt to knock some sense into you before you blow $15k on a bike that will be in the shop half of the time you own it.3/24/2010 1:13:14 AM |

fwiw, my FIL has a 1200 custom and it has rarely needed to be in the shop, outside of inspection, tires, and oil changes... It needed a tune up a year or so ago, but that's it. He's enjoyed his HD a lot. 3/24/2010 1:32:19 AM |

This one fellow I know loved to ride his harley everywhere. It had 120k on it and just kept breaking. The shop manager at harley litteralluy told him that harleys were not meant for this and he needed to get a bmw. So he did and he has never been happier. I loved when ppl in their 'supped' up harleys would try to race any of my bikes, I would wheelie past their head and laugh. 3/24/2010 7:56:00 AM |
