In conclusion, I love america and am thankful to live in the situation I'm in. I also intend to continue moving it in the right direction but I am ashamed of our history and the fact that we got to where we are by stealing everything we have and we maintained our status at the topfor so long by stepping on everyone below us.

Right now we are only #1 in military which is an evil thing so the only thing there is to be proud of is that we are number one in entertainment. Several countries have surpassed us in quality of life, environmental impact and finance.

Its time we pay back what we owe the rest of the earth by starting to take care of our own people, land, and environment and stop meddling with other countries.

I'm thankful of where we are-ashamed of how we got here but I hope to be proud of where we will go.

Don't get it twisted. We have great universities but to think they are above and beyond the clear cut best is just silly and make no mistake kids come here because our kids suck which means an average chinese student can come here, stand out and maybe even get a full ride.

Its not because of other countries are smarter than us but its because confucian society values education, philosophy and the desire for knowledge while American society values harleys, playboy, hollywood and a lot of other stuff listed in this thread. garbage. A good amount of american culture is viewed as low value garbage in much of the world.

I actually like the concept of soccer, no commercials, no breaks, action the whole damn time. If only they made the field smaller and let them tackle each other. But regardless, soccer is a shit-ton better than baseball and no where close to as good as football.
