MW2's system is absolutely terrible, sometimes it takes 10 minutes to get into a game without one of your friends getting kicked out on the way in

Bungie knows how to do matchmaking and it's even more obvious in this beta, joining friend's games without having to pull up the xbox guide? awesome awesome awesome

^because yeah, servers being down due to massive traffic totally has something to do with the actual joining and interface mechanics.

Goldeneye came out in 1997. In 1997, Quake 2, Hexen 2, Turok, and Dark Forces 2 came out. All of these had better controls.
