To me, Move is just Sony's attempt to try to make themselves look relevant. They are trying to cash in on the market Nintendo has developed, but the cost point and what looks to be currently available is just attrocious. This is just Eye Toy 2.0. Its an expensive gimmick that will be swiftly forgotten. They need to accept that they are 3rd place this generation (well, 3rd place everywhere but Asia).

Kinect is equally as worthless . . . for this generation. I fully expect M$ to continue basic support for it after this initial media circus. However, I find it more likely to become a more integral part of a future system where it will just be naturally built into the unit. This is their beta test.

i'm not really interested in flailing around to play a game. i have a wii, and it's fun, but i still play the ps3 more. i only play wii sports & wii play, and i don't stand up to bowl or serve. i don't think sony & ms should really bother w/ this stuff. the people who are interested already have a wii & it's cheaper.

Hmmm the Zelda game looks nice in screenshots. Hopefully they'll iron out all the control issues before it comes out NEXT YEAR. Maybe it really was a technical issue and it'll work better on the show floor.

Oh boy more shitty Mii minigames and a Mario sports title. Looks like I won't need to play any Wii between Metroid in August and whenever Zelda comes out

seems like the focus is more on making the control more complicated and cumbersome, rather than the game itself. he was slaying flowers and shooting spiders...all stuff you've done in the past few games

^You have a point. I wonder if they're going to get more funky with the controls and really test your use of the MotionPlus.

Kirby and Donkey Kong were a pleasant surprise. I thought it was a pretty good show overall (didn't watch live footage, just read joystiq's liveblog), but it'd be nice to see an actual new franchise. Everything smacked of "hey, we're bringing THIS back!"

3DS has potential, but it definitely depends on how well they make use of its abilities.

I think the Zelda demo suffered from signal interference between the Wii remote and the wifi from all of the press/bloggers.

they mean that if you total up all the time from all wii owners, it is more than all the time from ps3 and xbox owners..

and i believe this because every gathering i go to, people of all ages are playing the wii and the ps3 or xbox is reserved for the hardcore gamers in the crowd.

well nintendo is definitely putting their foot on the pedal now with all these announcements so it's tough to not be excited but I was kind of disapointed retro is just working on some 2d donkey kong game,

couldn't they have just given that project to some smaller in house team, like the guys that did new super mario bros wii? plus retro has already been working on this a long time so I would expect it to be pretty much finished at this point, how long could this take? and retro also has no experience with this kind of thing...oh well I've been skeptical of decisions like this before and nintendo won me over, we'll see

So I checked out part of Nintendo's presentation during lunch. I actually thought the Zelda game looked pretty good. I like the idea of 1:1 motion controls like that. Of course, the stage demo sucked ass, but I can overlook that seeing as how it's still a year away from release.

The Kirby game looked really gimmicky in my opinion. I imagine it might be fun for a couple of hours or so, but becoming somewhat boring afterwards. And, 2D Donkey Kong Country? Come on now. That game looks like the exact same game that was on the Super Nintendo.
