I've always thought of bagels as gay doughnuts.

I would think donuts/doughnuts would be the gay ones, as they usually have fruity sprinkles and glazes on them. 7/14/2010 2:58:29 PM |

Well, you clearly have a certain opinion of gay people, then. 7/14/2010 3:01:04 PM |

New York Bagel and Deli in Cary is pretty good, but their prices are a bit nuts. Probably because they have a monopoly over bagels in the area.
Growing up on Long Island, I could live off of bagels if I had to. 7/14/2010 3:15:48 PM |

A lot of people like Bruegger's. Their bagles are okay imo. I'm not much for the outer crust that's as tough as iron...
I love me some Pepperidge Farm Bagels though. 7/14/2010 11:30:49 PM |

mmm bagels
mmmm cream cheese
MMMMM bagel sandwiches
MMMMMM BAGEL PIZZA
though i gotta say i like salty bagels more than sweet bagels. i DO like a good dutch apple raisin bagel or blueberry bagel BUT while i know everyone LOVES the cinnamon crunch bagels, i've tried and can't.
i like onion bagels, sesame seed, assiago cheese, everything (that is my fav), rosemary, etc etc. for some reasons the sweet ones just aren't my jam

I'm pretty sure they're available at most any bagel place. I think NY Bagels has 'em. Don't hold me to it. 7/15/2010 1:14:24 AM |

can we talk about cooking bagels (either store bought kind or bagel shop kind) at home?
i think i have almost perfected my cooking method, but i want to hear what other people do. didn't someone recently say they grill their bagels on the george foreman?
i have been using a combination toaster oven then microwave technique. because i like my bagels crusty but also chewy. it is hard to find the right balance! 9/2/2010 10:00:20 AM |

bagelsssss
so bad
yet so good
today when i was on the way home from the doctor i was fantasizing about a plain bagel bacon egg and cheese. i have bacon, plain bagels, cheddar AND monterey jack cheese, but no eggs
i figured that was my sign not to be a fatass. so i'm going to put bacon on my turkey sandwich at lunch instead 9/2/2010 10:11:09 AM |

Big Apple Bagels! (not in NC )
I agree that "Best Bagels in Town" in Greensboro are in fact not the best bagels in town. 9/2/2010 11:59:28 AM |
