I think if there was more focus on Brenda the game would be a lot more interesting, but Naonka and Fabio keep getting too much attention.

Just caught up from last week.

Hate that Marty is gone, the game is going to be less interesting now. I HATE that Naonka still has the idol...I'm thinking Brenda told her what was up but they probably would have shown that happening.

She better. Speaking as someone who works with children for a living, I don't think I would still have a job after attacking a crippled, swearing like a sailor, talking about the ghetto, and then being a blatant quitter all on national television. ESPECIALLY after not giving up the reward.

I hate her so much, and now she takes away my chance to see her voted off.

Yeah, it's bullshit she removed herself from the game before she was held accountable for her actions. I would like to say that it's survivor and you can't let someone's choices have implications in the real world, but she was constantly saying "this is who i am"

I was pretty pissed that they both quit. I mean, it's fucking ridiculous to quit that far in.


The show should have done something to replace them with contenders.


It would've been cool to have the survivors vote to bring 1 person back from the jury to replace the two quitters. Yeah, they'd be well rested and fed but it would be on them to vote that person off next week.

Maybe someone can explain this to me about last night's vote:

After being told right to their face that whoever didn't win immunity next was getting voted out, why the fuck did both Fabio and Dan STILL vote Jane out?

In the end, Jane voted for Sash instead of Holly so it wouldn't have mattered much, but what is there for Fabio and Dan to lose to try and force a tie? They already know they are the next ones to go and their backs are against the wall, how did it help them to stick with voting Jane? Yes, I realize the answer to this might just be that they are both stupid, but I'm curious if I'm missing something...

the way i look at it, is that they pretty much have their mind made up before they go to tribal council... also, tribal council (according to jeff) is usually 1-2 hours long. we only see the "best parts" of it... so the editing may have made it look like it was going to go that way, but in actuality it never was.

as for why they wouldn't try, i have no idea... they probably didn't want to risk the other 3 people voting for them (dan) and then being involved with the tie

If you were fabio, you can win the next 2 challenges and make the final 3. If you were Dan... I have no idea. Fabio probably realized that it's better to be beaten than to be randomly booted off.

And ^. We saw bits and parts of tribal, so I'm sure it really wasn't very close. I'm not sure I've ever seen a tribal in which a decision was changed. Tribal usually changes the next week dynamic, not the current week.

i wouldn't be surprised if sash realizes he has a better chance taking dan and fabio to the final 3 than taking holly and chase. at least his odds will be better. and jane didn't even vote holly, so if they'd switched it wouldn't have mattered.

Yeah as I said, I realize it wouldn't have mattered...and kimslackey...not exactly sure what you are saying about Fabio...better to be beaten than randomly booted off? They are basically saying they will vote him off if he doesn't win immunity.

In the end the point is moot, I'm just saying:

* They are told point blank they are the next ones to go and that Sash and Chase have idols
* What did they gain by voting for Jane?
* What would they have to lose by voting for Holly?

If they do, they force a tie, revote, tie, then some fire starting thing or something. Worst case Jane goes just like if they had voted for her and they are in the minority. Best case they take control of the game. And it's not like Holly, Sash, or Chase would like them even less for trying to vote one of them out. If I told someone I was voting them out next I sure as hell wouldn't be surprised that they tried to change the vote up.

i just assumed that they knew the longer jane stayed, the more likely she was to win. like marty said a while back, if jane makes it to the final 2 or 3 then everyone on the jury is going to vote for her. i always forget to see how the votes went, but i just figured it was damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Chase is an idiot. Voting Jane off was the right move considering everyone on the jury except for Marty loves her, but its his fault she found out about it. He would have had her vote over Sash and Holly and now he doesn't.

Dan poses no threat to win challenges whatsoever, I've never seen someone get this far by doing so poorly. He's probably the only one who is safe in the next vote, but I wouldn't take him to the final three because he's done a good job at not making enemies (beyond Jane and Holly). Sash and Chase are going to have to turn on each other.

I think that Fabio and Dan both realize that they cannot beat Jane either.

If I were Fabio, I would be thinking that I have a very good shot at winning immunity and cracking the final three, but if Jane is there, then there is no chance of winning.

I don't think that Dan can win either way, but regardless I think if he has any shot at all it is with Jane gone. If Fabio does not win immunity next time, then the final four will probably be Dan, Chase, Holly, and Sash. And IMO, Dan could very easily weasel his way in to the final three with that scenario.

next season should be interesting, but wasn't there a big backlash from the fans during pearl islands because they allowed players who were voted off to reenter the game? i didn't really watch survivor when it first aired, but one of my friends said a lot of survivor purists hated that season because burton and lil got to come back in, and lil made it to the final 2 as a result
