I enjoy the show. Contrary to what someone else said, I don't think they took the easy route and jammed it full of Kwik-E-Mart stereotypes. There are a variety of different classic sitcom character types (that happen to be Indian) and the show mostly makes fun of American culture. It also captures (and exaggerates for comedic effect) some of the nuance of Americans working with Indians - specifically the relationship between Indian managers and their Indian subordinates compared to that between American managers and Indian subordinates. The show is smarter than most people realize if they haven't been in the situation before - which I fear will be its downfall.

I almost do the exact same thing for a living.

There is a mountain of hilarious shit that I encounter every day.

I don't think it's possible for a show to do a poorer job capturing that than this show does.

It's only gotten marginally better throughout the season. I don't know why I keep watching it. I guess I have a morbid fascination with it because I am Indian, and I work in what's essentially a call center like environment. Also I want to pee in Rebecca Hazelwood's butt.

I'm sure some of the funny stuff is probably out of line and they can't show it...

I work in stocks and the ticker for Walgreen's is WAG. This Indian guy is on a call discussing this stock and kept pronouncing it as vag. "I'm having problems with vag","I don't like vag", etc. Everyone in NY was losing it....

That's one thing I have no experience with - call centers - so perhaps they aren't doing a good job with that aspect and I just don't know/don't care.

I like the show. Not my favorite and definitely wont win any awards, but its good for a laugh or two. You can also tell they are trying to improve it as they go.

Not every show I watch has to be emmy material.

I've never seen it on the office but I can't claim that I've seen every episode.

And I've seen it on a couple of shows but not a sitcom.

i just wikied him (Diedrich Bader) for no real reason. But it's pretty cool that his great grandfather was Edward Bader, former mayor of Atlantic City and a character in Boardwalk Empire.

"'Outsourced' is the first TV show I have seen where South Asian fans are speaking out. It's great to see the fans get involved this way." I wouldn't mind if this were renewed. I have is DVRed and will watch an episode if I have 20mins to kill, it is usually good for at least 1 laugh per episode

I dvr this show and usually make it through the whole episode. Sometimes it's ok and sometimes it sucks, but at least it's not Perfect Couples or the Paul Reiser show.
