Tough timing with the Rockies series this weekend - Tulo is on fire right now. I've been to every Cubs series in Denver since I started grad school in 2007, and we haven't done well here the last two seasons.

It sucks because the Rox fans hate the Cubbies fans, and they really let me have it when they win... oh well, I'll be there Sunday for Dempster's start. Here's hoping they can cool Tulo's bat.

The only time I've been able to go to Wrigley was back on July 4-5, 1994. The Cubs played the Rockies that week & I was able to catch a double header on the 4th, hit up a White Sox game that night & then see a night game at Wrigley on the 5th.

dempster's been solid his last few outings. zambrano too. even garza hasn't been awful (he's a strikeout machine and doesn't give up many homers). just need to get the bats going more consistently.

Unless you're a fan of pissing in a feed trough, you'll probably enjoy the rooftops more. Do the photo in front of the sign and enjoy the sights. Murphys Bleachers is a chill bar to hang out at after the game, but usually everywhere is a madhouse after the games.
