Does the South Alabama game count towards bowl eligibility?

We play Liberty and South Alabama, and since South Alabama is transitioning to FBS, I'm not sure if we can count a win vs them as one of the 6 we'd need for a bowl, or if we'd need 7.

Hopefully we'll win enough games that it won't matter, but you never know.

Is Bryan going to go pro or is it pretty much assured that he'll be back?

Clemson will be better next year too. Their DL won't be as beast, but their offense will be much better regardless if Parker comes back or not. GT will be better too. Maryland will be good. BC will be much better. We were lucky to play BC when their young QB was out. I don't know what to think of UNC and WF next season.

Also I assume there is a standard rotation for the games against teams in the other conference that are not the natural rival. It just seems like we never play Duke (outside of last year's debacle).

Proof that if you play football anywhere in Alabama you will be good. HOPEfully we'll be the blemish on an otherwise 11-1 season for them

^ From FSU onwards, all the teams that we play will have either new QB's or starters who were benched for erratic play. UMD is the only team we'll face with a known commodity. We'll also have not only a new QB but a new offense, which should give fits to: Glennon, the opposing defenses (for awhile, and of course, NCSU fans)

I can't make any reasonable predictions from FSU to UMD until i see the first half of the season. I threw in the L to MD because, well, that's pretty standard.

With or without RW I feel like we make out really well with that schedule. Other than FSU we don't have any "Oh Shit" types of road games. I don't like finishing with UMD and Clemson again, but at least they're at home this time. I also like that if Glennon is the starter then he'll get a few weeks against lesser competition before getting into the tougher games.

I'm trying to come up with best case scenarios for the conference. i don't think anybody would be a top couple team unless Miami knocks of tOSU, FSU beats Okla, or Duke beats Stanford (lol). there's just not enough high profile games on any ACC team's schedule.

But maybe if all of those happen, and State wins out to play an undefeated Miami team... maybe

Wow, you're right. It has been 7 years. I think we get over the hump this year. A lot of their assistants got fired, Bowers is gone, and they'll have a new QB. Too bad we don't play them earlier in the season. They'll have 10 games to figure it out before they play us.
