Anyone who thinks we'll score more than 60 pts in this game is retarded. Syracuse's zone is going to rattle the fuck out of the freshmen. We'll probably end up in the 40s again.

You beat the zone with outside shooting. I think we can do well against it, as long as Wood and Javi (lol, I almost spelled that with an h) can get some open looks and sink some threes. Harrow and Zo can drive and dish outside, we'll force Syracuse out of their zone, and hopefully we'll open up some inside game (not that it looks like we have one, sans Tracy)

I have no doubt Syracuse is a good team...but a few of their losses to non-ranked opponents are way too close for a top ten team. A win is a win, but barely (4 pts or less) winning over GT, Mich W and William and Mary isn't all that impressive.

That said, I'm still afraid we're going to lose by another large margin

What will you make up this time? We have only scored 5 points the entire season? I guess you got butthurt because I called you out for making stuff up in the credibility thread?

Tracy most likely won't play. At this point in the season he would likely be our leading scorer and rebounder, our only all ACC caliber player with any real college experience, the focal point of our offense, and the best option we have against a set defense.

Oh but we better win because we will get boozie coming on here bitching about how we have the best freshmen in the world who would be dunking from the three point line if it wasn't for lowe.

i agree we shouldnt rush him back, but its b/c we need him healthy hte rest of the season, not b/c non-conference in unimportant as you seem to be implying. If Smith doesnt make it back for the Zona game, he will miss all four of our important OOC games. Those games are critical come ncaa selection time.
