Question: My roommate and I are normal size, like 180 and 210. My dog is like 20 pounds and sprints around everywhere like a lunatic. Despite being 1/10th our weight, is it possible he's louder to our neighbors below? They haven't said anything, I just want to make sure he's not a pain in their ass.

most of us only think about the annoyance of having to listen to certain types of activities unexpectedly creeping through the walls

yet has your occasion ever been ruined by the fact that perhaps there is someone listening next door who actually LIKES listening?

mine has

and yes I wrote this with the nuances of an 1840s gossip column

^^^ Yes it is possible. I found out my cats were making a crapload of noise in our previous apartment with their running around. Thankfully they don't run around as much now as they used to
