^^IIRC one was 6'2, a physical power forward, and a 6'1 wing forward. The other two were guards. Given Harper's up tempo style, it wouldn't surprise me if we never or rarely have anyone play that is taller than 6'4 other than having 1 or 2 on the team for situational matchups. Most women any bigger than that are slow and will struggle to run the floor, and those that aren't play for UConn, Tennessee, etc.

Great Senior Night game last night! GO PACK!!!! Coach Harper does get excited. She had a LONGGGGG interview last night and she's all smiles and gets so caught up in the moment. Against UNC, she said she forgot to even thank the fans because she was so "happy for the kids".

She's in year 2. In year 1, she took a decent team to the ACCT game and the NCAA tournament. She won at Western fucking Carolina of all places. She played under the best coach the women's game has ever seen. She had a depleted team this year with so many injuries Tom O'Brien feels bad for her. They had to get a former manager/cross country runner to play the last few weeks for fuck's sake.

^That's not an excuse, she should of recruited more centers last year. She also got her ass whopped in the NCAAT last year. Nothing impressive about that.

I saw quite a few games, and they just couldn't put together a full 40 minutes.

With Harper you have no problem with that, with Lowe you do.

What the fuck are you getting at? We've had 3 key injuries...all of which happened to our bigs. It left us extremely shallow down low. Despite that, we still almost knocked off an unbeaten Duke, and we did take out a top-ranked Carolina. We forced OT in two other conference games, and lost a couple other games by a small margin.

I've seen that used, but I feel like 90% of it is bad luck. Every now and then you'll have a really bad S&C that might contribute to more frequent injuries...but just look at State football. Before this year, I remember hearing a lot of concern about our S&C program because of our inordinate amount of injuries...then we came out this year and almost completely avoid the injury bug.

The bigger problem, by far, is those who have an opinion on which threads should stay or go and ruin any chance of worthwhile discussion. I'm fine with people questioning why a thread should stay such as you just did. My reasoning is that I will never have a problem with differing opinions on a coach. Is it premature IMO? Yeah, but I'm not going to moderate to difference of opinions.
