The Pit is the answer. They've probably heard over and over that NC is known for their BBQ, and no one does it better than The Pit. If they watch Food Network they've probably heard of the place too

we went to the pit the other day and I only had the grilled chicken sandwich (I despise BBQ) but it was pretty awesome for a sandwich. everyone said the BBQ was pretty good too

Find out where the American Meltdown food truck will be today. They usually post it on Facebook in the morning. So good! I highly recommend the "Pigs n Figs"

If they are Muslim you cant take them to eat BBQ, there is some rule against eating pork in Muslim.
