I once went to something called "Catch Day" at Lake Crabtree when I was a little boy. It was a parents/children fishing event. Only 4 families showed up and each family got to put their name in the drawing for a new fishing pole. I won the fishing pole. It's a pretty nice one too.

when i was younger Gatorade had a promotion. under the cap, it would say like "Jazz in 7", "Heat in 5", etc. it meant that whatever team you got, if they won the finals in the amount of games under the cap, you got an all expenses paid trip to the NBA All Star game the next season and all kinds of VIP access. Most of the caps were "Timberwolves in 4" and "Bullets in 5", which were never going to happen.

i got a "Bulls in 6" cap...that year the Bulls beat the Jazz in 6 games. i was ecstatic, until i found out that my mom threw it out because she didn't know why it was being saved in the cabinet.
